At Classical World we bring students on the adventure of learning those stories in the language of the Romans themselves: Latin. We start from the very beginning, with no prior knowledge, and build your student up to love the language and the history of Ancient Rome.

Latin didn't die when Rome fell. Far from it! For most of Western history, Latin was the primary language used for all academic, theological, and philosophical writings. By learning Latin, your student will not only be able to read the great authors who helped to shape our society, they'll be able to understand them and appreciate them on a deep level. In fact, the tools needed to take part in the Great Conversation of Western Civilization will be handed down to them personally.

Hi, I’m your instructor, Kyle Brown.
With a deep and personal love for the Latin language and Roman history, I've been blessed with the opportunity to teach these classes in a variety of settings. I've taught Latin to all types of students, from middle schoolers to graduate students and everything in between. As a classical homeschooling father, I also know how important it is to provide your children with the best quality education you can. That's why I'm offering these courses. It's my goal to help bridge the gap between parents who want to offer their children the best education they can, but perhaps don't have a strong Latin background themselves. Parents, I'm here to tell you: it is possible. And I'm happy to help provide the solution. With you, the homeschooling parent, in mind I've designed these courses to be the perfect balance of flexible and hands-on. God bless.
